Common questions

What businesses usually ask

Who delivers the service?

The service is founder-led by a current registered paramedic with 15 years’ operational experience, qualifications in intensive and extended care paramedicine, Clinical Educator experience and specialist RTO compliance and quality expertise.

What does an AED readiness check include?

We confirm the device shows ready status, check pad and battery dates, inspect accessories, storage, signage and physical condition, and document any required action. Internal repairs are referred to the manufacturer or an authorised technician.

Are replacement supplies included?

Routine servicing is included within the selected plan. Replacement consumables, pads and batteries are quoted separately so you only pay for what your site actually uses.

Do the plans include first aid kits or AEDs?

No. The kit and AED limits describe how many client-owned items are inspected and managed during each scheduled visit. New or replacement kits, AEDs, pads, batteries and consumables can be supplied with approval and are charged separately.

What is included in the annual response exercise?

The Workplace Ready exercise is a facilitated tabletop discussion or site walk-through of up to 60 minutes, followed by a brief findings and improvement report. It tests roles, communication, equipment access, ambulance access and escalation arrangements. It does not include accredited training, clinical skills assessment, mannequins or specialist simulation equipment.

Can you provide training or workplace workshops?

Training and workshops are not included in the standard plans. They may be arranged and quoted on request, subject to equipment, availability and an appropriate RTO arrangement where nationally recognised training is required.

How often should our site be checked?

The frequency depends on workforce size, hazards, use rates and manufacturer guidance. Many small sites suit six-monthly checks, while active or higher-risk workplaces often benefit from quarterly servicing.

Is GST added to the advertised prices?

No. Wollondilly First Aid Management is not currently registered for GST, so the prices shown are the total amounts charged. Any future change will be clearly reflected in quotes and pricing.

Does this replace our legal workplace duties?

No. We help manage readiness, records and practical arrangements, but the person conducting the business or undertaking remains responsible for meeting applicable workplace obligations.
